How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Walks start at $25 for a 30-minute solo walk and $45 for a 60-minute walk. Drop-ins are $22, day trips $55, training sessions $85, house sitting $75/night, and cat sitting $65/night. Each additional pet on the same booking adds a small extra-pet rate (varies by service). New clients get their first walk FREE, and our monthly membership plans (starting at $179/mo) bundle visits at a lower per-walk rate.

What's your cancellation policy?

For Dog Walking, Drop-In Visits (including Cat Drop-Ins), Training, Home Boarding, and other services, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start for a full refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start have a 50% fee, and cancellations less than 4 hours before the start are charged in full. Day Trips, House Sitting, and Cat Sitting require 48 hours' notice for a full refund; cancellations inside that window are charged in full. No-shows are charged in full. Package credits are returned unless a 100% late-cancellation fee applies. Eligible active members receive one free late cancellation per calendar month. Eligible cash refunds are sent to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to post.

How does the Meet & Greet work?

Every new client gets a complimentary 20-minute Meet & Greet before their first paid service. Your walker comes to your home so you, your pet, and the walker can all get comfortable. We'll review your pet's routine, vet info, leash/collar setup, and how key handoff will work. You can book it from the booking page — it's flagged 'free for new clients' automatically.

Question 4

How do you handle keys, locks, and entry?

We support smart locks with one-time codes (preferred), lockboxes, garage codes, doorman/concierge handoff, or a physical key copy stored in our locked, address-redacted key safe. Keys are tagged with a coded ID — never your name or address — and we never leave keys inside your home or car. You can update entry instructions any time from your account.

What hours and areas do you cover?

We service most of central and south Austin (78701, 78702, 78704, 78741, 78745, 78704 and surrounding ZIP codes). Standard booking hours are 7am – 8pm, seven days a week. Early-bird (before 7am) and late-night (after 8pm) visits are available for members and on request. All bookings need at least 8 hours of lead time so we can route walkers efficiently.

Is Walker WanderWoofs deaf accessible?

Yes — we're a proudly Deaf-owned business, and both Ian and Jadyn are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), making us one of the only fully deaf-accessible pet care providers in Austin. Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing clients all get the same experience: booking, updates, and support happen in writing, photos, and video through the app, and we're happy to do your Meet & Greet in ASL — just mention it when you book. Our visual-first communication style is also a superpower with dogs — they speak with body language, and so do we.
